Frequently Asked Questions

How much attention will my dog receive?

Your pup will receive a minimum of six bathroom breaks per day and three play breaks however at Flat Creek Kennels we treat your dog like one of our own so they'll be running, playing or relaxing underneath the stars with our pack whenever we are outside on the Farm!!!

What should I bring with my dog?

Your dog's happiness is our primary focus!

Maintaining a regular diet will make your pups stay easy on it's stomach so bringing your pups favorite food, treats and any medicine your dog is taking are the most important items!!! If you would like to brings toys, blankets or clothing that will remind them of you, we welcome you to pack them a bag!!!!

Do you restrict certain dog breeds?

Our #1 priority is the safety and well-being of the dogs staying with us and we take great pride in the amount of time and attention that we are able to offer your dog during their visit. Therefore, as a family business we try to accommodate and care for all dogs however if your dog is “dog aggressive” our ability to care for your pet will depend on the kennel’s capacity at the time of scheduling to ensure that the quality of care for our guests isn’t limited due to the need to separate your dog from group interaction and play time.

What happens if my dog runs out of food?

We will continue to take great care of your dog and either purchase additional food for your dog at your request or provide your dog our premium dog food at a rate of $5 per day.

What if I would like my dog to receive extra attention?

We care about your dog just as much as you do and will provide as much love and attention as you would like!  We feel that most services are already included in our nightly rate which is why we don't have special package for various services however if there is something special you would like done for your beloved dog we would be happy to tailor our services to meet your needs and provide a price based on your request.
